Need suggestions on mapping for RR out of Shreveport mainly Pool 4&5. Is there a good paper map that can be bought at local store or Marinas. Going to make my fit rip o RR in a couple of weeks and would like o get a god map.

Yes, They have a good paper map of both of those pools at RR South store. It comes as a single fold out paper map. I bought mine there and it is well worth the money. Its detailed enough to get you around but you are on a river system and things often change. With the flooding I am sure some things have changed but they have the maps there should you want one. You can order one if you I am not mistaken.

I've been reading that there were sand bars in areas that were accessible....be careful.....like Mark said you should be able to buy one from the store.....give them a call, I'm sure they can tell you.....

Thanks Mark and fishing Couillon, I'll pick a map up when I get there.
Be careful! The Red has changed from all the flooding and it is still falling. Many of the ox bows have no access and I suspect there are a lot of new sandbars.
