Low Oil warning on Mercury SmartCraft

I recently upgraded gauges to Mercury SmartCraft SC 1000 tachometer & speedometer. I did not install the oil sensor, I was told it requires a special oil tank and it's about $400+ (to me it's not worth it). Of course, now the speedometer keep giving me "AL" icon (Alarm) and showing LOW OIL warning.

How can I eliminate this error message? There must be way to indicate that oil sensor in NOT installed, I hope.

You have to change the settings in the SMARTCRAFT gauge for TANK 2 to not installed or something along those lines. You might have to do the same for the fuel tank(s) if you did not use that harness either.

Problem SOLVED! I called Mercury and they walked me through the calibration. You have to set TANK 2 to not installed!
