mine broke were the cable hooks to the valve. so i bought a new valve and its not the same. the one i need has a threaded end with two nut that i connect to the boat, and the other end to the hose. the one i bought both ends connect to a hose. do they sell the one i need or do i have to fabricate something. the part number for the one i bought is a rdv-2-dp.

Email me a picture of it and the make, model, and year of your boat. I'll look and see what we have.

Re: live well drain valve (gamblerman)

Hello, if you have more than one, im interested also. I have a 94 intimidator with the same valve. It was made by T&h with the threaded end on one side to go through the transom and a hose bard on the other. They dont make this model anymore, the new ones have a hose bard on each end. I took mine apart and lubed it but it starts to bind afetr a while. I use rubber stoppers for trailer weigh ins but would rather have the valve than sticking my arm all the way in the green water to pull the plug.

Re: live well drain valve (Intimidator1)

I came across the valves today, but please send me a pic. I don't know if these are the old one or new ones. I had a 94 209 and my switch went out but not the valve so I need to know what it looks like. We have part numbers but not year or model numbers.

Re: live well drain valve (Gambler248)

what i did was bought that newer valve and grinded down one end. then bought a threaded thru hole piece ( 3/4)with the plastic nut and reused one of the other nuts that was on the old piece and bored out the hole in the threaded piece. then i used pvc glue when i slid the valve into the threaded tube and put it on. im positive this will work for u cause it did to for me. also after lookin at it real good thats what the guy who i bought the boat off of did too.
