    The state park is on the Lugoff side just above Dutchman's Creek on lake Wateree. There is a state park in Camden (Goodale) but they do not have camping facilities. If you want something closer, there is one in Lugoff just off 601 near I-20. Have never been there but seems to get decent reviews. Unfortunately, Camden doesnt have a lot to offer as far as camping. BTW, Camden is home town for me as well. Still go over once or twice a week and fish the lake frequently. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me

    You guys make me jealous. After I get a new truck, I'll be in the market for a toyhauler. For now, my trusty old tent trailer will have to do. I just hate not having an inside shower and a crapper with privacy lol
