    E-TEC 115 07 Hard Startinghttp://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/question.gif

2007 115 DSLU S/N#05172230 Purchased new in Portland OR, Never seems to start as it should. Sometimes takes as many as 5 times with 5 to 7 revolutions each time. I dont choke it or prime it. I try to make sure the fuel primer bulb is hard, good batteries etc. It was dealer rigged and Im just not sure if this is normal? Everyone else say that theirs starts on first revolution all the time. Could it just be a S/W issue maybe an update to the motor is needed ? Any help would sure be appreciated . When it runs it runs great, I love it. Thank you .

Early 115's had a starting issue that was easily fixed with a software update. Takes about 15 minutes and is free while in warranty. Talk to a dealer.

Get it to your dealer for updates. We had the exact same problem and it was cured by a 20 min trip to the dealer.
