    First G-Boat Build Pics

The boat is moving right along and should be done by the end of next week. The plant has been taking pics through out the build and they finally sent me a few of them. I am chomping at the bit to go fishing

Livewells are in the same place, but they made like a ramp where you open the center door and the fish slides down into the well. The outside door can also be opened, but it doesn't have the chute. Using teh chute door eliminates having to open the outside lid and eliminates the possiblility of a fish jumping out.

I think he is getting a 90 hp Honda 4 stroke

For real, didn't you get the Pro XS 250? Or did you go with the 300xs?

Mike, in picture 3 & 4, what are the 2 black vertical tubes? And, like I said, it's going to be one sweet boat.

Re: First G-Boat Build Pics (flippedout)

Brent, I don't think so, they look too far forward and not in the same position. My guess would be something to do with the live-wells, but just a guess. You can clearly see how well they build a Gambler.

Re: First G-Boat Build Pics (G-Boat)

They are the tubes that the trim tab cylinders go in. They are not cut into the hull yet, they are just sitting there waiting to be installed. As you can see that the box next to the one tube says "LENCO" on it. That box has all the Lenco trim tab stuff in it. Also the trim tab "plates" are laying on the hull where the livewells will be when the top cap is set. The "TUBES" are not Lenco's as far as I know. The tubes are a Gambler thing, most other boat builders that use tabs mount them externally.

Mike, what bodies of water do you frequent living there in northern IL? I travel around for tournaments a bit, might cross paths. By the way your going to love your boat! Congrats.
