    Noland!!!

    Heres is how i got my boat balanced without using any ballast.
    Before i would need atleast 25lb's of lead shot if i was alone to get the boat to sit level.



    Now i dont need any ballast. I didnt lose any weight doing this only gained weight placement.
    I now use the same batteries for trolling motor as well as big motor.
    They are the big 31 series optimas with the highest reserve capacity. I can fish all day long without any problems

    That excactly what I did to balance mine. My jack place pump and battery charger are mounted to a piece of metal that I had to move to rearrange my batteries but other than that, that's the way mine looks. I made a huge difference. Now I don't have to add water to the left side well for balance and it really helped with high speed chine walking.

    I need to tidy up the wires a bit.

    I did about the same thing Jason, moved the batteries over to the passenger side and the oil tank to the drivers side. The only difference, I'm running four batteries.
