Ive been tryin to get my hands on a Fury 26. I'll let you know what I find out when I get a chance to try it.
I ran one tonight a 26 pitch... It has a really good hole shot and very quick exceleration which could of been the fact that it's a 26 pitch.. I need a 27 but they don't make them yet.
It ran 6140 rpm's dead on 83 gps and it gets there pretty darn fast..
The only problem I had was it didn't handle as well in the chop and if your not careful with the wheel when your running in the chop you will make it start chine walking just a little.. You have to hold the steering a little tighter (not let it move as much) than you do with a four blade..
Over all it's a good performer but I need one pitch bigger..
I think the 26 would be perfect for a 2100 and a 225 combo..
I will be honest with you I will have a 27 when they come out.. The hole shot was way better than anything I have run including a Bravo 1 with eight PVS holes.. The bow of the boat didn't come up any at all and it was on plane in the length of the boat.. From there it was to 83 faster than anything I have run..
Like I said it didn't handle as well in the chop as a Trophy or Bravo but that was the only down side to the prop..
well i couldnt stand it was in the merc dealer to get a fuel line and there it was a 26p so of course i snatched it. i will be completely honest... the hole shot and mid range is absolutely incredible. got one mph top end gps over the tempest but the temp was 95 and the previous was set at around 70 degrees. well with all of the positives said here is the negative. you better know how to drive your boat because it will set it free on the top end. was kind of exited first time in a while going 80mph and it actually felt like it!!!!!!!!!! if you need a new prop that is the one i would get hands down if you dont then the gains might not be worth it. did i mention the holeshot is unreal.

That's saying a lot if it out-holeshots and out-accelerates a Bravo1.![]()

It does by a lot Al... I was impressed just keep in mind that I ran a 26 Fury and am comparing it to a worked 28 Bravo 1... From the way the 26 Fury felt I believe a 27 Fury would still beat a Bravo on hole shot and quickness to wot..
But would it beat the 26 bravo1? Apples and applesI dont think the yamaha will like the smaller diameter prop like a fury at 14 in. Sounds like a pontoon prop..
But I will try one if you send me a 27-28 Terry...

I don't know Mike I have never run a 26 Bravo 1.. But I know my 28 Bravo 1 with PVS holes is good but the 26 Fury was twice as good on hole shot and I had three large PVS plugs in the Fury.. It needed some air.. But it still put me on plane in a boat length or less.. What I really liked about it was there is no bow lift when you nail it out of the hole like most other props.. I am like you I don't care to much for the looks of the prop but hey I had a ugly horse once and it was the best horse in these parts..![]()
If you can harness the top end unstability in the chop it would be the best prop I ever ran and that's saying a lot because I have some pretty darn good props.
I tell you what Mike if Mercury comes out with a 27 I will get one and send it to you but until then I can't help you out...![]()

Yall need to put some pressure on Mercury first to produce a 27 and 28 Fury..
