96 johnson 200v6 steering tube bushings???

i have a 96 200 johnson v6.if i bump the trim quicky or even pick up on the skeg it looks like there is bushings or something worn out where the steering cable tubes hold the mid section and trim unit together,if not are the tubes what i need to replace??

At that point there are two bushings, one on each side, where it swivels up and down! BRP part # 0337579.

Tighten the nut on the tube to 55 foot pounds and check it again.

Follow Elgins advice...had same problem and Rusty told me to tighten it up and that was the problem!!!!
