I recently bought a 1995 Intimidator I took it out last weekend for a short time and noticed the water pressure gage was not working. How can I check the gage and if it not working where might I get a similar replacement?

you can you shop air and blow in the line. should be a coulpling under the cowling. blow across it at and angle and in short bursts. becareful not to send all the pressure to the guage. might have a blockage between motor and guage. if so you can unhook water line from guage and motor and blow line out. good luck.

it probably has been frozen, and wont work again if it has been...they are not hard to replace...i believe they use faria guages...you can order one from gambler...or probably find one at a local dealer...lots of boats use the same one...

Thanks for the input is there any way to keep them from freezing? when I install the new one do I need to purge the line like a break line? Is the line just filled with water or should i use antifreeze or something. thanks again.
