    No Insurance for Gamblers

Here is a kick in the pants....one of the organizations I fish with offer incentives if you use Angler's Advantage Insurance. I just called them to get a quote...they flat out refuse to cover a Gambler. The girl told me it was just too much spped for their company. Kind of makes you proud huh? So fooling around I asked her if the covered Bullets..she said oh no not Allison either. I said what about a Stroker? She said she had no problem with that one. People kill me.

Yeah, when I first went ot my ins. company to insure my G-boat, the lady checked her computer and said they would not insure anything over 25 hp. I looked around and pointed to a Grange ad on the wall where a happy (presumably insured) man was at the wheel of a ski boat with family in boat and child in tow. Two calls to the main office later and I had a policy. amazing, m

Anglers Advantage is a joke in my opinion....they also don't insure Bullets or Allisons. They're reason is because Kevlar can be used in the construction of these boats.
They also don't insure a boat that has more than 250 hp or will exceed 80 mph.

I won't disagree there. I ran a Triton for one year in between G-boats and I had anglers disadvantage ins. maybe they should ride in a TR200 center console and try to hold a handheld GPS and read it @ 80 plus!! Also when a tournament trail such as American Bass Anglers is promoting it they will always insure Triton no mater if it runs 100mph.

i have my boat insured through progressive. apparently they don't have a way to check a boat on there computer because while my wife was setting up the policy they asked how fast it would go, my wife told them 55 and that's what they accepted

Most insurance companies use magazine test reports, formulas, and the actual boat Brand web site!!

Been there done that when I was looking to insure the Stroker,, Very surprised they wouldn't insure the Gambler..

It will only get worse with insurance companies..
