    Re: Motor Toter (mattman)

If this one isn't that type, I have one that I never use anymore that you're welcome to.....just pay the shipping.

Since switching to a LockNStow I will never use a regular transom saver again.

    Re: Motor Toter (mikie)

For those with Merc motors, there are two pins that are spring loaded and you put into holes on the bottom of the motor mount, the other end has two "sockets" that fit over the bolt heads on the motor, down by the lower motor mount covers.
You trim the motor down until the bolt heads are just snug in the sockets and you're good to go.

Holds the motor much more solidly than any motor toter. Also keeps the motor from turning. I've towed to SC and Maine (more than once) and I'll never use a standard motor toter again.

Hey Al, what are the white inserts that fit over the nuts?

I had a buddy that works at a gasket shop make me some out of rubber that work good, but they don't last...

Sean.....apparently they're teflon. They should last better....they're much thicker.

    Matt......I'll shoot you an email.

    Re: Motor Toter (mattman)

They fit over the two bolt heads that are located on the Mercs down by the lower motor mount covers.

    What motor are you running?
