    Question 2.5 efi 200 hp

Why does it seem like most 2.5 efi's loose the #4 when they blow Is their a common issue? I've had two of them blow an it has been the #4 both times. Curious if anyone else has had the #4 pop or just my experience.

I see more #2 holes go. #2 usually goes from heat, detonation, lean mixture or a combo of everything..

Can't really state what's causing your failure without visual inspection of the piston and cylinder.

I've seen failures in any one of the 6 cylinders... numerous potential causes.
