No grudges I don't think anyone should burn any bridges especially myself. However, it is typically a custom on these boards to congratulate others when they purchase a new boat, motor, catch a big fish or post a good speed. Having fun and joking should always be welcome if offered in good taste. I just saw to much of one and hardly any of the other....thats what gave me heartburn.
However, be careful talking to much trash about my 300......I might just show you the numbers on the back of the cowling.

Speaking as one of the "Others" I understand how hard it is to know for sure where somebody is coming from when they respond to a post you've made when you all you know about them is a username . I know I've been guilty of taking a few posts the wrong way in the past and have gotten my feathers ruffled because of the way I read the post even though no harm was intended by the person who made the post .

Once I've met somebody face to face, shook their hand, looked them in the eyes, and swapped stories over an adult beverage, it's a whole lot easier . That's why I enjoy the FL BBC tournaments so much and why I'm looking forward to the Rally in April. I've met a couple of the guys who post in this forum - LD, Barbara, and Dell - and I guess I'll be meeting a few more - Jason & Dawn, Lou & Deana - at the Rally. I'm hoping a few more folks from the Gambler forum will sign up too.

Congratulations on the new motor WD I'm impressed by the numbers you have posted so far and I'm looking forward to hearing what it will do after you add some of the high performance options that are available to Yamahas. Competition is what keeps prices from getting to far out of hand and technology advancing . Any advantage one manufacturer gains just pushes the others to build a better one and we all benefit from that

Hope to meet you at a tournament or Rally one of these days and share an adult beverage or three

I think 87-88 or so is what I'll see. I'm not much for all those special heads and stuff that make the motor go faster..........so I doubt I'll do any mods
