Yes there is,but you can fit one right between the brace.Pull out both storage boxes up front and thereit is.It is only a matter of a couple dozen screws.With a cordless drill it is very simple and the boxes will go right back in after ya look around.
Unfortunately my deck on the HP is different and it's a no go for me. Bummer

What type of storage did you put on the front step up? Did you make it or buy it from G3?
It was a welded aluminum box with a lid that came out of an old MonArk.
