I run a 25M on my 150 carb, great holeshot and top end. Might want to try a T-1 someday but like you said $$.

Mainly use the 25m that the dealer set it up with. Picked up a Trophy 24p a couple of years back and it lifts the stern well, and it tracks well and steers easier without hydro steering - runs about 3mph lower (56) @ 5700 rpm. It's a small barrel so I had to add a blowout ring. Would love to try a large barrel 23p 4 blade.
I keep coming back to the 25m - better holeshot and better on top end - I might get it worked down to a 24 to pick up some rpm - currently tops out at 5500.

Seems like I'm the only guy out here without a HP model. Why did they stop selling them.

What I was told by a dealer, it was because of the price of the HP's compared to the Eagle. Like everything in this world now, the dollar controls

    I'm running a 2004 Eagle 175 with a 70hp 2-stroke, 13.25 x 17p Turbo porp worked by East Tennessee Prop, and a 6 inch jackplate. 41.8 mph, gps top speed @ 5900 rpm on water that's slick as glass. Averages 38.4 mph gps @ 5600 rpm at 3/4 throttle.

    Re: Props (te1980)

I've got a 2002 Pro 175 with a 60 hp 2-stroke. Prop is a Michigan Wheel 13 5/8 X 15 and I run 30 mph @ 5800 with 2 men and a tackle store on board. Would likely be closer to 33-34 with one guy and a lot less tackle but I didn't buy this boat for the speed anyway. I can fish for 3-4 days usually before filling up my 21 gallon tank. I'm going to be looking to trade up in the fall 2010 though. I'm feeling the need to go faster!
