Gotta love the guttural sound of that 250XB.

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!

Where are you getting the trailer from? May be looking to replace mine soon.

I had a 91 Skeeter that rotted out that was 20ft also, so I put that trailer under moved all the bunks to fit the Cobra. My friend owns Nextrail Trailers depending on how much you want to spend I could get a pretty good deal for you, all his trailers are aluminum.

    What an awesome looking rig!

I have the same motor on my 201DC and absolutely love it. It sounds like a race car, hauls butt like a race car and drinks gas like a race car.
If your looking for more speed I can tell you by just looking at it the motor is way too low.

    Re: (gmcz71502)

You`ll need to find the sweet spot for your jack plate setting. My prop shaft is 1" below pad, but yours may need to be higher or lower than this. Just make sure you don`t drop below 12# of pressure while running.
The chine could be caused by the motor being too low. That motor should turn around 61-6200 rpm. You get it that high and your going to have one fast boat.

When I bought my boat it chimed so bad above 65 mph I couldn`t control it. The higher I raised the motor the less it chimed, and the faster it went.
