set up on 18' cobra

I'am trying to help a buddy, who has no internet, with his 2001 I think 18' cobra with 150 merc. XR7! He has a jack plate on it, not sure how big!

thanks for any help on prop and how high for motor! ballpark numbers!

I would get a 23 Trophy or if he carries a heavy fishing load a 23 High Five and set it about 3" below to start. I think I would run about 8" of setback on that boat. The High Five may sacrifice some on the top end but will get him an awesome holeshot.
