You hit the nail on the head! People who have them just don't give them up. Besides being one of the best looking F&S boats, they're also very fast. Good luck in your quest.

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!
Whats up Darth? How ya been man..Yeah i put it off long enough and maybe too long. You know I love the Coral 202..and now that i have a little one.I need a good fishing boat for her when she gets old enough.I have someone maybe gone look at this one in Okie if its still there. Its probably the 250hp version. But thats ok.
If i get it i'm gonna have to change mota's..lol..There's a guy here in Houma that has one for sale but he wants to much..Its a 99' for $16,500

Keep in mind that there were only somewhere around 275 Coral 202s EVER made total; and only about 80 of the Coral 191s like I have ever made. So thats not many to go around.....
I saw one advertised a few weeks back in the Little Rock paper for the first time in a LONG while..the ad ran one day and that was it. It was old under-powered one-a 1997 Coral 202 with 1997 200 Johnson on it.

I totally agree. I would say as far as the fastest (able to go over 70 mph) "traditional" FNS boats go The Coral 202 would be one of the top runners (especially with 250-300 hp).![]()
Stratos 200FS can bust 70 with a 225 and suprisingly the Charger 475 ran 67.3 with a 225HO ETEC. Its unlimited hp rating begs for a 300 which would put it all over 70 mph IMO.![]()
Skeeter needs to get off their backside and up the HP on the SL210, it would run strong as well if they did.
Good luck in your Coral search buddy and take care of that little oneI will keep my eye out for one.
Alan there is a 191 for sale up your way.I think its in Mo.It looks clean..2000 Model.I like the space between the front and back seats on the 202.Is there the same amount on a 191??
NO..it's smaller back there on a 191 than on a 202. That space and the length of the nose of the boat seems to be where they cut down the 202s to make the 191s.
The rear deck and compartments look to be the same size.
What really sets the 202 apart from every other FNS is the front casting deck. Its a TRUE full size deck, especially if you have an insert.![]()

I guess i shouldn't laugh.I been looking at them on here even when i had my Bullet..I found another one on Boat Trader. But its kinda far for me...Its a clean looking boat though..Under powered too..

BMAN, I didn't know that the Corals were THAT rare (275 202's!). You may just have to go on a road trip to get a good clean one![]()
Are you still a Merc guy or has Hydro-Tecs work won you over yet?![]()
I couldn't imagine a 202 with a Phase III 3.1 or 3.3L would be capable of
![]()
Can you imagine how a 202 with a 3.3 Phase III 250 HPDI would run. I bet that thing would be well into the 80's with that Yammi on the back.
Bryan, where is that one you said was to far for you to go. Could be some people closer that could take a look see at it. Oh, this is Gary L from the other site by the way.
The Blue and white one above is in St. Peters,Mo....about 11hrs from me..Oh and i'll go with either..Yammi or Mercury..But if its a Mercury 2.5....Its gonna be taken off.I want a 3.0L![]()
Wish it was closer Bryan. That is like 4 hours from me. I wonder if someone else is up that way closer to St. Louis, Mo. because St. Peters is just North and West of St. Louis.
I may call the guy this week.I just might have to make the trip...I'm due for a road trip..
What about Darryl B (XB21/250xs Allison)? Is he still of FB? I thought he lived near St. Louis. He posts on the Allison forum pretty regularly.

I saw that 2003 model. But the bottom looks like its a flake hull..I don't want to deal with that..I may have to put things on hold for a bit.I go to the doc tomorrow to get the results of my MRI on my right knee![]()
![]()
Flake hulls are sweet, just keep them off the stumps and rocks! LOL![]()
I know what you mean, I would prefer a white gel hull myself. But....that may be one of the lsat few built. beings it is WAY up north it probably got very little use.
