    73sv

    going to get a 73sv and would like to mount it up by the trolling motor, is their a bracket to mount the transducer to the trolling motor, if so where can I get it. Gamin tech svs says there is not one. Help

    I have my 93SV xducer on the trolling motor using the 010-12105-10 adapter from Garmin. BUT you have to have a MK101/112 trolling motor for it to fit.

    I tig welded the the transom mount bracket to a hummingbird trolling motor bracket i already had on mine. I couldnt find a trolling motor bracket for that transducer. So you gotta improvise a little.

    The fin on my trolling motor is towards the front of the motor. I made an adapter out of hard polyethylene, drilled 2 holes in the fin and attached it. The transducer mounts to the adapter. Hard polyethylene is the stuff that a lot of kitchen cutting boards are made of. You could also use scrap composite lumber. It's thicker. Both can be cut, sawn, shaped and drilled easily.
