    Listed my boat for sale

It is on the BBC for sale page if you know of anyone interested. Hopefully I will be able to get back into another one in a couple of years. Just too much else going on right now to fish as much as I would like to do. Which is a shame because I just got this rig fixed up the way I like it.

    Update 7/11/08 it has Sold.

Re: Listed my boat for sale (schoolies)

This is none of my business, but I'm wondering something.
Assuming your boat is paid off, why sell it just because you can't use it as much as you would like right now. Can't you just park it and run it every chance you do have?
I see posts like this fairly often, and I wonder why people feel the need to sell the (perfectly good) current boat, then have to buy another one down the road?
Unless of course it's strickly a money matter causing you to sell.

Re: Listed my boat for sale (AlanW)

I have done the same thing twice, sold a boat I had just the way I wanted it because I was not using it much, still regret doing it. I plan on holding on to my Cobra it is paid for, and would be hard to find another boat this clean for what I paid for it. It is hard to for me to look at one sit but I know I would be buying again later. Keep it if you can, you know what you got.

Update 7/11/08 it has sold. Being that it is 7/11/08 it should bring the new owner some very good luck ! I'm gonna miss this rig.

Well, it sounds like you are making a well thought-out decision which is best for you
in your current situation. The storage issue is for sure the kicker, I would hate to have leave my baby outside for any length of time.

Parking boats outside long-term, no matter how you try to protect it, has killed more boats than just about anything else.
Good Luck in the future, whatever you do!
