1998 Cobra 201D Fuel Tank

How many gallons does the fuel tank hold on a 1998 201D. Thanks

Supposedly 42 gallons, but there were some that went out the door with less. Brother's 201 run empty topped out at 34 gallons if I remember right. If you have the cooler under the middle seat I think it is 32-34 gal., if not it should be 42-44. By the way, don't trust your fuel gauge, mine on "empty" has about 12 gallons left in it. Not that that is real bad, but I need to know when it reached the "E" before I can figuure how much further I can go. I hate looking down and wondering how long it has been on empty!!

My 99 201D caries 42 gal, the ice chest is in the floor

Mine has the cooler behind the passanger seat, so I guess I have the 42 gallon.

I have the approx. 34 gallon cell; however, I don't have an ice chest in the floor or under the seat.

I was mistaken on the 42 gal, I pulled out the original brochure and it states 36 gal standard /45 gal optional. Mine has the 45.
