Yeah it's hard to stop playing with it and just fish.I have a 7" screen and I think when I get a Panoptix Transducer it will have its own screen.

It doesn't come with a screen. Just a power cord to make it work and an ethernet cord to plug into a compatible unit.
Go to this page on Garmin and click on "In the Box" and it tells you what you'll get.

Sorry, should have been more clear. A few weeks ago, I got to play with a Panoptix transducer on my trolling motor. After using it for a few days with my 70dv. I would not want to have to split screen with other data down imaging, mapping etc. etc. When I order a Panoptix I will either use the 70s I was planning to put at the console, or buy a unit with a larger screen. There is so much to see with Panoptix.
Before Panoptix, I just never did see a strong need to run two units at the bow. But I agree with Steve, and I now have a dedicated 741xs at the bow solely for Panoptix. I am also running a 1040xs at the bow for mapping, 2D, and down vu.
This weekend, I am hoping to get some good video of Panoptix Forward while fishing schools of fish in 15+ feet depths. If all goes well with the fish-finding, I'll be sure to share the videos.
