Other then the normal go fast boats (bullet, stroker, gambler, norris craft, skeeter) what other boats out there can get up to speed and run with the best of them?

I wouldn't include skeeter in the go fast category. That being said Allison, blazer, and bass cat are pretty quick. These boats should also be labeled the "fastest" not necessarily the "best"

Speed cost money. How fast ya wanna go? I have done so much for so long with so little. I can now do the impossible with nothing!

In this neck of the woods you might get one day out of 15 where you can crack 50 anyway. Between crap floating and the water conditions with the wind on KY Lake I send more time between 30-50 MPH than anything else.

There isn't a bass boat made for running these big wide open lakes fast. If you are up in the deep clear lakes that's another story. Allison, Stroker, Bullet with an Allison or Stroker being at the top of my short list. The XB21 is an amazing hull.

P.S. I don't consider them fast unless they will break 85 with a real load. There are only a handful of bass rigs that'll do it.

Think you got them all named. But definitely take skeeter out. I ranks down there with ranger. Here phoenix is pretty quick but definitely will not keep up with a bullet or Allison

    Allison, Stroker, NorrisCraft, Bullet---
I love my Cat, and can generally show my transom to Skeeters, Phoenix, Ranger, but no way does it run with the 4 I listed.

And, with the possible exception of the Allison, when the wind is blowing, I'll take my PUMA FTD over any of the go fasts.

Mine can do almost 3 mph on the TM. But that's what I'm on most of the time. Bought to fish.

^ bought mine for rough water as I normally have to run Sounds (Currituck, Albemarle) to get to where I need to fish.

I think a blazer and bullet will run close to the same. They look like the same hull. I want that Stroker, that's a bad mofo!

I would like to see a blazer that could come anywhere close to running with a Bullet.
