Im getting ready to re carpet for my 201 and need some advise. Where to order it from ive heard bassboatcarpets.com, 6' or 8' wide? If someone has done theirs before how many feet would you suggest I get. Also I am looking for new latches that lift the lids.

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!
I just ordered carpet from these guys http://www.boatcarpetbuys.com/ I bought 30 feet by 6 feet of the 20 ounce. When I measured my boat the only place I could find wider than 6 feet is the back deck but with the side rod lid taken off the width its under so I figure with the extra footage I ordered I can do it and the rear compartments inside. I paid 237.00 for the carpet and glue pretty cheap really. The thing I liked about them over bassboat carpets is they give you free shipping over a 100 dollars. bassboatcarpets wanted an extra charge for shipping to me because Im in the west. I was looking for the same handles I think I will give the T-H handles a try. I guess Im going to have to keep my cobra now its going to look like new.
Thanks Ill try them. When you get started on your carpet let me know if you run into any problem with the 6' width. I was worried about the back deck and the floor under the consoles.
I think Im going to have to have a very small seam on the back deck only where the rod cover ends but that doesnt bother me at all. Not even sure it will even show. I measured everywhere on my boat and that was the only place over 72 inches I could find. I think the deck floor under the consoles was close but as long the carpet comes at exactlly 72 I should have plenty of width. Im going to do it next weekend so I will let you know how it went maybe even have some photos.
