    Disable Oil Injection?

I have a 1998 J175FTLEC5 175 Ficht oil injection. Never had one issue with the oil injection system but i am getting paranoid with all the talk. How do I go about disabling the oil injection system the right way. Then what ratio does one mix the oil and gas?
    Thanks

IF you try to disconnect the oil system and premix the fuel, you will ruin the motor in a very short time. First thing is not to listen to those who don't know what they are talking about and post all kinds of BS on the internet.

Your FICHT motor uses a pressurized oil system operated by an electrical injection pump to distribute oil into the crankcase. Unlike a traditonal 2-stroke outboard, fuel does not mix with the oil as it is injected directly into the combustion chamber. Mixing the fuel will not get any oil onto the crankshaft, rods, pistons, bearings, or any other parts that require lubrication.

Thanks for the advice. So this something not to be concerned about with my particular motor?

Not to worry about since there is no possible way to disable the oil injection on any direct injected outboard.
