    04 200HO or 150HO

I am looking to buy a Ranger Cayman 191 with a 04 200HO DI, and was told by the dealer that it would get better fuel mileage with the 200 rather than a 150 around 4000-5000rpm. Is this true the hull weighs 1,180lbs. I have a Sratos 285 Pro XL with a 175 Fast Strike Johnson, and it has been great, but it like's fuel. I just want to buy the right one, any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

My opinion, The larger hp motor won't have to work as hard so the fuel consumption would be less, also resale would be better down the road! JMHO

    Welcome to the BBC.

The 200, at those RPM's, would get as good if not better fuel mileage than the smaller motor.

My 200 Ficht gets twice the fuel mileage as my old 150 carb engine.
