the model # is e200stleub I ran a compression test today the motor was cold all spark plugs out and coils grounded. the #'s were 107,106,100,99,100,94. Do you guys see this as a problem. Is it time for a rebuild

Nope all good just decarb and you should be AOK.
sound goods good ihaving trouble with my spped todd said my motor was sick or boat was water logged but i think it is just setup problems
Not bad for a 96. Just make sure the throttle plates are opening fully. Check the throttle roller on top where the timing arm hits the throttle roller. There should be a clear plastic roller on the black pin. Timing arm to roller is .005" clearance. What hull? And what is the motor height?
its a javeline sdc 400 with a hydralic 5.5 cmc jackplate and 2in spacers. the guy that bought the boat new had 10in manual he said he could get 70 easy gps. the second onwer put on the jack plate and then im the the new owner. i bought the boat for $7000
Don't think that Javelin will bang 70 with a 200 it may but really doubt it. Best starting point would be 3.5" below the pad for prop shaft. At that height a good 24" raker should be pushing it close to between 5600-5800 rpm and you should have good H20 pressure. You should be in the mid 60's all day long. If your running rivers and running loose or loaded go to a Renegade. A Tempest will work too but get one with the PVS plugs so you can tweak it.
do you think that 10 jack plat would have made a differance i am running a 24 raker and 62 mph gps i have a renagade 25 that is rough i thought about buying a new one i was i was just worried about what todd said
Take the rig to a set of certified truck scales as empty as you can and weigh the boat and trailer. Subtract the weight of the trailer and the motor and whatever amount of fuel and batteries. This will get you close to the actual weight of the hull. Compare that to the manufacturer's weight and add about 200 pounds. If you are higher than the sum you have some H20 logging. Can't do much about that other than pull the top cap and replace the foam..
does 62 sound bad it the water logging comman
I can't really tell, I run mid 60's with an 00 200 non HO on an old 1989 20' Champion that has been in and out of rain, sleet and etc. I'm happy to be on the H20 when I can get out, which is rare. Best I've seen out of my rig is 68.9 on Guntersville in '04 and we were headed down stream. I was happy. My speed freak days are over, a blow over will do that to you.. If you are hitting 63-68 in a 400 with a 200 you are just about on par with most depending on load.
it will run 62 with nothing in it low fuel and 62 with 1000lbs of people and full of rods and tackle
Check your throttle plates, tach and motor height and prop condition.![]()
