Suck or Blow?

With truck on empty(arriving at lake house on T-Bend) it dawned on me that perhaps I could siphon some gas from my 201d. NOT! Is there an anti-syphon devise on year 2000 cobra tanks? Found a neighbor with new Triton and after several attempts of blowin to check if we could hear gas bubblin we managed to suck enough gas into 5 gal cans to fill my truck tank up so I could get back to Houston. Question isss Do Cobra's have an anti-syphon devise or did I just not twist hose enough to get into tank??

Don't know, but next time that happens, disconnect the line after the primer bulb...you can pump it out that way, and it will syphon out once you get it started...very slow, but will help you out in a pinch when on the road...
