    The Way Back Machine

Is it possible to find the Champ website that was up before the PE buyout via the Way-Back machine? I've never used that before.

I did find the 1998 for Derwood and his Fishunter.. The 190 Fishunter picture is pretty cool. The big deep v airborne.. Very nice..

Cool. I'll try to figure it out. I have the 98 link, cuz I think you posted that once and I saved it. I was looking at it when I got this idea. I just want to go back in time and gaze at the models that were once offered. I think the 183, 187, 190 203, 198, and 210 were all available when that site was shut down. What would be even cooler would be to have the last official Champion catalog. Anybody know where I can find one?

Roy, The last brochure from TN was the 2009 one. It was not as detailed as the earlier ones.

I cannot access the Champion/Genmar web site. Butch, how would one do that?

Re: The Way Back Machine (Bowhunter)

It's a real shame that they did away with the 190 fishhunter layout. In my opinion it was the ultimate fishing boat layout. I fished out of the newer fishhunter once and there was just no room on the front deck. I think the only other fishhunter type of boat that compares now would be once of the big ranger multispecies boats as far as layout is concerned.

Basscat purchased Yarcraft so maybe in time they will tweak a couple of layouts and make one similar to the 190 fishhunter.

Actually it's a shame what happened to the whole line of boats.

Perhaps this link to the brochure will get pinned to the top. Is this the only one there is or are there others?

Can we get the 2001 models to show up? I tried and can't seems to find the path.

Yeah, the layout of the Fishunter is very nice, especially with the drop in back deck. I also have the drop in back seat, so I can go from full time fishing machine to a family water toy and party barge is seconds..

Yep, its a shame.. i see Triton now is using the new style 186 FH as their 18 ft multispecies hull. Event the triton series is now using the Fishunter name...

    ITs a shame..

The 186 in my opinion wasn't nearly as nice of a layout as the 190. Front deck way to small.

Here you go...BUT, you may not get past the model pages, because they used java and the source code is long gone, so no looking at the models, etc. If anyone finds another way, please let me know!

Java is gone as a source code?

Re: The Way Back Machine (ChampioNman)

No, I meant that the code Champion used is no longer running on their old web site. The Way Back site can only cache certain elements. If the code that runs the site is no longer there, it can't load properly.

that is why you can't see any of the model information...

At a certain point, stickies get too numerous and are pretty much ignored. Have seen too many examples of that! You can keep bringing this thread to the top if you wish!
