Has anyone with this boat had problems with RF Interference on a 1198 Hunninbird? New Motorguide, have spent hours trouble shooting the problem, with HB Customer Service and every fix on the web I can find. Hit the trolling motor and the interference is just to much. Ran jumpers, ground form tm skegg, direct hook up to crank batt, put chokes on wires, have tried a lot. Appreciate any help. SB
Is your transducer a shoot thru th hull or transom mounted
I had a similar problem with my Lowrance to MG Tm. Worked great until I was on the TM power I had to run a ground wire from my 24V Tm system to my 12V cranking/acc system. Problem then went away.

bigfish, mine is on the trolling motor. My other one is in back and is clear as a bell.
Did that, did nothing for mine, have tried lots of stuff, will keep trying , thanks for the reply. Its how we make it out here, by helping us dumb fishermen lol
had an issue with a bad transducer wire one time. there was a "kink" in it. the kink was causing wacky stuff. changed out transducer and wire and never had another problem.
