I just bought a 2003 Champion 206 and on the back deck of most boats, there are two storage lockers the two livewell openings; but this Champion has one storage lock, two livewell openings, a small cooler, and something that looks like maybe a livebait well. I'm just not sure what that compartment is for. I contacted Stratos for a copy of the owners manual, but it was generic to every boat from like 1996 to 2003. Is the 206 a Walleye boat or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2001 206 Elite. The rear deck has 5 openings: two for the livewell directly behind the center seat and in front of the rear pedestal seat: one to the rear starboard which is for storage; one to the port rear for storage; and one center rear for batteries, oil, charger, etc. I believe that configuration was not changed for several years but I'm sure Lea will be along to confirm that. She is the Champ Guru!

On the 2003 (and most, if not all) 206s, the starboard rear has the cooler/wet storage with a drain, and a 2nd wet storage box. Double lids. My 198 is the same, so I use the 2nd wet storage box (no drain in that one on my boat..just in the cooler one) for dry gear. On the port side, a single large storage box. Mine is carpeted. Plus, of course, livewell lids and rear access to batteries, etc.

My dry storage has a pipe in the middle of it that looks like a fountain head. It must be some after market thing or something.
