    Paging RoyJulius!

Lea informs me you purchased the cover for your Champ from Deans!
I was wondering if you bought the Aqualon or the WeatherMax?
And how do you like it?

    Re: Paging RoyJulius! (Rader398)

I'm pretty sure mine is aqualon, at least I always thought it was. When I ordered it they didn't offer me a choice of material. I love it, and it fits perfectly. I coat it with 303 protectant at least twice a year because 303 has a uv protectant of 40spf. Here's a pic from the first time I put it on, 3 years ago. It still looks almost as good as day one. Dean's will send you samples of the different materials in whichever color you choose, upon request. I don't think they offered the Weathermax when I got mine, must be a new fabric.

I'm not sure how long they have had the WeatherMax
They advertise it as new technology and being breathable!

Guess I need to ask a few more questions when I get them
on the phone to place an order!!

    Thanks again Roy!!!

I use a 16oz bottle and refill it because its lighter to just carry 16oz at a time. It takes about 3/4 of a bottle, or about $10 worth. I prolly use $40 or $50 worth of that stuff a year, but my boat is 13 yrs old and stored outside and still looks new. I can't help but give 303 some of the credit for that. I'm sure BBS and some other products work well too, but I'm happy with 303.

Sweet! That weathermax will prolly be a great thing for the higher humidity areas, being breathable as it is. You'll have to post up some pics when you get your stuff!!
