Another question for Lea?

Hey Lea, Was just wondering more about the specs on my boat that you would have. Hull weight, design, beam forward design?,storage volume etc. what does the X mean too? Was this a rebadged model as well? Thanks! '94 190 DCX

Not "beam forward design". That did not come out till the 188, 196, 206, etc.

No idea what you mean by the "design" that follows "hull weight" in your post.

Yours is the original 190. Not re-badged anything to my knowledge. Re-badging came with later TN models.

In those years, the X meant the same as Elite means now.

The 94 brochure does not show storage space. I will check later brochures when I get a chance. It shows "Max weight" as 1350 (in 95 brochure it shows that as hull weight) and "Persons/capacity" as 825.

Thought the DCX meant Dual Console EXtended deck? Just like DCR Dual Console Raised deck.

I think you are right there, Fred. Thanks. I forgot about that, but it was listed in the Elite series. There was no 190 DCR/SCR, at least not in 94. There were 184, 176 and 168 SCR/DCRs, tho.

Thanks much!! I just like having any info I can get on my toys. Try and keep notes in my files on such things. Rather have TMI than not enough. If you have anymore specs that would be of value please pass them along. Love the boat, my most favorite boat I've owned yet out of 5. Only thing that I would like to add is a recess TM control and some better deck lighting (probably do lights before next season) and a new water pressure gauge for the Rude. Another 50 or so HP would be fun too!!!
