    2009 190 specs

    Couple questions about a 2009 190
What is the length with motor down, swing away closed?
How wide carpet to carpet at the front pedestal?
How does storage compare to 198 or the like?

Any opinions on this boat with a 200 opti? Anything to look out for?

    Re: 2009 190 specs (Jiggumup)

The 2009 190 is actually the 188 re-named. Brochure says length with tongue folded is 22'6". Beam shown as 92.5", but that is outside edge to outside edge at widest point of boat. Someone who owns one will have to measure the deck width at pedestal for you. Since the boat is a "beam forward" model, it has a lot of room up there.

The brochure does not show storage dimensions, but the 190 appears to have pretty much almost the same storage as the 198...

This is one of the best. No issues that I have ever heard of.

If I remember right (my notes are at home) the pedestal width is about 62".

I have a 09 190CX DC 200 Optimax,Extremely SATISFIED.Fast, agile, handles Rough water better than some 20 Ft.ers of another brand I drove..ChampioN Ride and decide.Very Stable, wide, beam forward design .94 " beam..65" at the front pedestal.. I have one 8 ft Skeet rod, with a rod sock it fits in my storage super. As Lea said storage appears same as a 198. My best is with a 26 Fury 73.2 GPS(Brochure says 1930 lbs. hull weight..UNBELIEVABLE performance for a heavy boat) seats and" T "load, just Me@190,fuel between 1/4 and 1/2 fuel, seats in..My favorite is 25 Fury &24 TXP OT-4,Both props have 3-4 sec. holeshot.Fury carries a load a little better.livewell full and passenger 70.2@5600 Any questions on set-up feel free to contact me anytime.I have tried 15! different props(can't tell my wife) these two are the BEST on a 190..

I can also vouch for Chad's boat. He treats it better than some of his partners...LOL

Seriously, he takes better care of his rigs than most. His old Champ was sold to a guy in our club, and it is still going strong.

You won't find a nicer rig...

I have a 188 and its more than expected out of a boat thats 19 feet lone. It fishes way bigger than it is and as said before, it handles rough water extremely well. You can't go wrong with it. I have a 200 HO DI engine on it and its a monster. My best with tournament load is 67.9 but after hearing what the Fury is getting, I will definitely try one to see if it gets any better. If you have the oppertunty to get one thats in your price range, you won't be disappointed. Good luck to you.

Do you recall the rpm for those posted speeds with the respective props?

No, just a worked 27" A45 that needs PVS holes and a worked 25M.
