Naw, I THINK Elete was /is when they 1st come out. then move to the cx. Few more bells and whistles.

an elite has more standard features the cx or tx fisher has less features hulls are the same
I was pretty sure the hulls were the same

hard to remember them all lea might have a brocher with it but here are a few that i can rember
things NOT on cx
hydro air live wells
lights in boxes
12 volt accessory plug
champion golden rule w/holder
this is just a few and is not to say a cx may have these added as options

No, it had been moved to the Tournament/CX series in 2001.
As for standards vs options, it changed from year to year. Electronics, 2-3 color options, things like that. One difference tho was in location of switches. Elites..on the dash....cxs on the side under the shifter..
Just about all the Elite features could have been had as options on the CXs. The hulls, topcap layout, etc...all the same.
