get Mark on BBC to turn you a tempest plus and you should get all the bow lift you need. what are you running now?

what plugs are you using on the prop? i have a 210, but have a 300xs with a 27 tempest plus. i have good hole shot and plenty of lift, but i fish light. that 250 should be plenty with that 25? what kind of speed and rpm's you getting? what jackplate and what height do you have the motor?

BASSGURU, holeshot is good, now when I have a full livewell, full fuel and it's warm out its a little sluggish but I'm okay with that. Overall I'm pleased with the prop, I would just like some more top end speed.

Have not seen a response to what plugs you are using in your prop? Larger holes or no plugs will allow your motor to spin up faster for hole shot, but will have no effect on top end...

and put your heavier gear in the rear.

    Re: (Lea)

Good point Lea,Furys are designed to be run with no plugs, totally different design prop.I have ran 2 diff. 25s and a 26 Fury on my rig.I currently run A 25 Fury or a , 24 txp OT-4 all had an awesome holeshot on my 09 190cx,200 Optimax..all Tempests Ive ran(way too many ) had at leat 2 lg.plugs.I know of couple of 210s in Louisiana, one Merc and the other Yamaha..Both swear by a 25 TXP OT-4s they have tried about everything.

I run a 26P Fury on my 210. I have a 250HPDI. I love it, good holeshot awesome mid-ranger(allows me to keep plan at lower speeds) and great top end. I have found the right prop for my heavy 210.

I love Mark's work and he has worked six different props for me , but I would not recommend having a Fury balanced and blueprinted as there is very little to be gained by having it worked. They run good out of the box(for some boats) if it was damaged send it to him otherwise try a Razor 3 or have a Tempest worked instead. You'll get more bang for your buck. Happy New Year!

Cool, thanks for the info. I have had Mark work props for my old 203 in the past and was very satisfied so I figured I would have him work this Fury, it does have a few nicks in it so I'll just have him clean it up, thanks
