Welcoming Kevin (K-ach) to the Champion Family

My buddy and life long friend Kevin (K-ach) has joined the Champion Family. I'm posting the pictures for him. Congrats Kev on the new CX 183.

Thanks Joe. Yes, I'll be picking up the new rig next week and looking forward to fishing from my new, never titled, 2009 CX 183 with Merc. 150 Optimax. Couldn't get the bank and the seller together on the 202 I was looking at but we will take Joe's big bad 206 out to tame the big stuff and the 183 will get me out there any day I'd really want to be out anyways!! Now if we can just get some decent weather up here I can take it out and put a few fish in it before putting it away for a long winter nap!

P.S. Haven't changed my signature yet because the boat is still up in Wisconsin. Don't want to jinx it on the trip down here!

P.P.S. Thanks to Todd and Ken and the rest of the crew at RecLending for helping me to get into this boat.

Welcome to the family, Kevin!!! You have chosen a great model. It will take bigger water than you can imagine...and will zip in and out of small areas like docks (or in my case sypress trees) so you can find the bass hiding!!!

The 183 is one of Champ's best....

    Re: (K-ach)

Proper break -in of the opti is very important. FYI: You will see some oil oozing out of the prop common during the double dose of oiling. Run sea foam, quick kleen, and marine stabil AKA: Don's cocktail.

I also pulled both fenders off my trailer and shot undercoating on the inside of them when I got mine home. 4 bolts very easy!

Congrats again man you are in for a treat!

    Re: (bassin butch)

Your going to love your rig! We were out in 20mph gusting to 35 and running was a piece of cake. Drop the nose and let the rig do the work.

Fishes much bigger than the specs indicate.

    Enjoy!
