I was wondering what kind of MPG i am getting with my 93 Merc 200 EFI on a 190 Champion. It sure eats the gas.I know it depends on the weight of the load and the RPM I am running at but just looking for a ball park figure

EFIs are pretty thirsty ... I would figure around 4 mpg +/-
In my 1991 200 efi the best i saw was 2.3mpg, that was on a Bass cat (light hull)
I bet i dont get but around 2 or less, may as well have an XB on here the way mine drinks it. ??? But mine may get better if i can figure out this motor, thinkin of selling and repowering with a 250 milage cant get any worse.

I've got a 1996 200 EFI Merc. and I've always said "It eats gasoline and washes it down with 2 cycle motor oil" But on the other hand I really like the motor and I don't think I'd trade it.

I have a Year 2000 200HP EFI on my 190SX..
It sucks gas... I really wish it did a little better, but it has been dependable. It doesn't do terrible on oil.
Had a Merc 225 EFI on my 223, loved the sound of it but drank gas like a thirsty red neck on Saturday night. Sold it while it was running and put a 250 Pro XS and you can't believe the difference in my visits to the gas station.![]()
I have a 2000 203 DCX with the Mercury 200-L EFi and it doesn't do bad on either gas or oil...
But, then again, I know that my 200 isn't going to win any races so I usually tool around about 3/4 throttle or less.
