Question Battery Switch for Power Poles

    image.jpg
I have (2) 8' Power Pole Blades installed and want to know how many of you that use Power Poles also have the pictured or another type of battery switch installed to shut off power/prevent any type of battery drain or unintentional deployment of the poles when trailering? I am aware that you can put the pumps in "standby" mode by pressing both buttons on the remote for 3 seconds, but I've also been told that battery switches are highly recommended as an additional safety feature. Any recommendations or advice?? Thanks...

Highly suggested. I use one and would not have them without one.

I have two blades also. I put a switch on each one because if you have trouble with one you can turn it off and still have one to use.
Also turn both off when not in use going down highway.

Very simple to install. You run power from a pole or both poles to this switch then run a separate power wire from this to the + battery terminal. Mount the switch and you are done.

rich said its better and I go with his wordi have one and I use it religiously,,,the system does draw low voltage at all times if you don't have the cutoff ,,,it was no issue at all during install of system,,,bottom line is go with what rich says you need or should have to make a clean and trouble free install

I used a toggle switch from an auto parts store.
    Very simple to install.
