186 Rear Deck Question

We have a 94' 186 Scx that we have owned since new and on the rea deck on the outside of the live wells there is a small compartment that is 14"L X 5"W X 4"H with a drain hole in the bottom. What was ment to be stored in these other than 1 long neck on ice in each compartment.

Bathing suits, wet towels, etc is my guess. Tho longnecks are a better idea...

I keep my rain gear in one side and dock lines and tow rope in the other side.
