    Removable Passenger Console

Can someone with a 07 or later with removable passenger console shoot me some pix and measurements? I've got the new hardware ordered, but instructions and templates are a "Dealer Item" So, I'm on my own unless I take it to a dealer, closest of which is Cabela's in Ft Worth (175 mi) ... Now, tell me everyone would have a warm fuzzy taking your boat there for a console installation ...

Re: Removable Passenger Console (Tx Champ)

I installed my own console in 2007 for my 183 but there was no such thing as a hardware kit back then. If you think I can help you I would be glad to offer any advice I have.

I would be interested in hearing and seeing what hardware you have. Is it from factory?

    Re: Removable Passenger Console (dstacey)

Yeah ... talking to Jason Bragg, the removable console is standard. The hardware contains some trim pieces and the bolts have knobs on them. I know Phoenix has some trim that snaps into the holes when the console is removed to cover them up.

I was hoping that maybe someone that had a 2011 with removable colsole might belly up and help me out. I just hope they havent made any changes to the console itself.

    Guns up!!

I think they have a 210 in stock in Beaumont Reggie, if they haven't sold it. I can take a digital camera over there if no one on here can provide them.

When I pick mine up, I will try to remember to take some pictures of the console and how it mounts and email them to you. If you don't get them by Sunday 6/26, IM me for a reminder.

Can't hide money!! Congrats on the new ride Ron. Bring it down to Hartwell so I can check it out. Just leave Terry home.

    Re: Removable Passenger Console (ChampioNman)

I am worried if I launch at Hartwell, the boat might melt. Sunday before last the water temp in mid lake was 86.6.

You won't like it much, it has a black motor on it.

TD and I are thinking about going to Jocassee if it gets here and is ready Friday.

Got the pix ... a bit hard to tell with those. I'd like to see it with the console off and maybe some measurements ...

You can do it the Smithwick way Reg...
Tube of sicoflex, lay a big glob of it on, and tweak it around until it looks good....then be sure and remove the passenger handle "you don't need that"

    Two degrees from center
    of nowhere.

Going with the removable ... I've decided I like the "screw your buddy" layout for Ts, but need the console when Nana and the grandkids go along ...
