    Ran Mark's Razor 4 on the 198...

So I ran a 25 razor 4, not sure what to think about it since it was 97 degrees and humid as heck out, anyways, it was a bit different thats for sure, when I came out of the hole it didnt spool up at all, it seemed like it hesitated for a second or two, then just took off almost flat instead of the bow coming up and breaking over. I ran between 69.5-70 at about 5400 rpms, I'm not sure if thats because of the hot weather or what but I was thinking it would be around 5500-5600. I really want to run it when it's not so darn hot out to see if there's any difference.

I'm still messing with my setup since i put the SHO on it, but this weekend I was running a 25 T1 @ 6000 rpm's just a tad under 72. That's 98,000 degrees, and 98,000% humidity at sea level.

I'm hoping to run a 26 bravo 1 xs this weekend.

Mike, get you a worked 26 tempest and be done with it. I know the pro xs is a diff beast, but I see 73 to 74 solo all day long here in KS. I would think up where you are it would be better?

I know Ive been thinking about that since the beginning, but I had a 25 tempest repitched to a 26 and bluprinted by Mark and it couldnt run with my fury, 70-70.5 tops, my 26 fury and now a 25 razor 3 runs 71+ by myself.

Those are some pretty good numbers for a base opti. If you had good numbers with the fury, try a yamaha T1 vented prop. The yamaha has an extremely aggressive rake and you should see that it will support a front heavy boat better than the fury does and offer you better bow lift.
