Am I the only one not really impressed with this? Looks cool but I see a lot of issues with this and how useful it really will be.

Hopefully it ends up being pretty cool and useful but so far it appears to be falling into the same category as H-bird 360/ Spotlight fails...

It is different that's for sure, I want to see real life images before I make up my mind. The only thing I see missing from todays technology is map cards with structure scan images already built into the card. A 3d true bottom image built onto a card.

Yea, I know. Compatible with my 840XS and I think I saw echoMap 70dv. How cool is that.

The 3D stuff has been tried before. Remember Hummingbird tried it a long time ago. Hopefully they have improved it quite a bit. Looking forward to see in real life.

Spotlight was the only fail. 360 actually works

Grout-scout, I'd love to but will wait a bit. I'm traveling internationally so much I've only been out for 3 hours with even less time on my Garmins. I plan to run my ethernet cable from my GVC10 to my 70dv tonight. I made a list of functions I'm going to learn this weekend. Wifi Sharing, LakeMap Sharing and screen capture so I can start taking pics when I'm out on the lake then report back on BBC. I was hoping to get NMEA2k installed this week and yesterday learned I have to fly out to Phoenix Sunday through Thursday. Whew! Lovin' my new Triton 18xs too.
