After doing some searching, there seems to be a trick to accessing the fuel tank on a 196. I'm assuming that I need to remove the rear deck to replace the lines. Does anyone know the screw counts or locations?

Fuel tank is under the seats. Remove the seats. On each side of the seats there is a "ramp" for a lack of better terms, with 3 srews running up each side and one in the middle top and bottom. On the part that the seats set on there are screws on the front and the back of it. You will have to use an ice pick or something similar to find the screw heads in the carpet. When I had my 196 I had to access the fuel tank 2 different times. It's a 30 minute job to remove and replace once you know where the screws are at. There is an access panel behind your center flip up seat but I can't remember whether or not you can access the fuel lines through it or not. For some reason I am wanting to say that you can't because I was looking for my anti siphon valve at the time and I don't think that I could get to the fuel lines through it.
