Well after trying to find a good deal on a Champion for no more than 8 grand I found out it just don't happen now days. I accidently found out about a 80 year old man who had an awesome deal no man could turn down on his spotless 2000 R81 Ranger so I bought it, BUT ! I will always consider myself as part of the Champ family.

Do your best to correct the Ranger clan as to what Champion is, was, and shall ever be (Special).

Heck my wife has been telling me I'm insane for 11 years !! You should have seen ol Cliff scarf down the shrimp etouffe and tator salad I cooked the guys at R & R Marine today~~3 big plates for Cliff~Now thats insane!! Heck I made a deal I couldn't refuse, a 80 year old had this 2000 R81VS that was mainly his 74 year old wifes, she died 2 years ago and he never put it in the water since. The boat is all metal flake res and gray, just georgeous! He deceided to sale it so he brought it to a local boat dealer and told them it had not been run in 2 years and to do whatever they thought they should to get it ready to sale. He gave me the tickets on everything, water pump, lower unit seals and oil, spark plugs, cleaned injectors, 3 new batteries, 2 new tires, man they went overboard, charged him 1000 plus! even changed oil and gas lines! I was first in line to buy it and he sold it to me for 7200.00!! Awesome buy! I can post a pic if you would like? just don't want other Champ guys to get upset.

I already know it won't do figure 8's like my Champ did ! The ride is good~better than a Stratos, Blazer, and Skeeter I tried, but don't ride like a Champ.

Well not just crazy but old, plump and retired= Ranger owners. Like riding in a town car as long as it is smooth waters you'll be happy. Temporary Insanity!
