    fule tank removal

OK guys, no choice but to remove the fuel tank on my 98 181 DC. So what is the trick? I know I need to remove the batteries, oil reservoir and fill lines etc. But in my quick peek around the bilge area I did not see any brackets. But I was upside down when I did it and the blood was rushing to my head. I might have missed something. The rear compartment opening seems plenty big enough to take it out. So what holds the darn thing down?

No. It is longer with a narrow bridge connecting the main halves.

From what I can tell on my 2001, the tank just sits in there, nothing really holding it down.

I recently pulled mine out of my 201. Wasn't easy but there was nothing holding it... just a tight squeeze. Make sure the you push all the hoses back behind the tank and then its just a matter of getting the tank at the right angle.

Going back in wasn't so easy either!
