    196 Elite Switch Panel Question

There is a switch, labeled "Bilge" that is located on a panel next to the shift lever. The "Bilge" switch on the dash works fine, but I'm not sure what the other one does. Is it a for a livewell pump-out? I noticed 2 thru-hull fittings, but only one had flow when using the Bilge switch on the dash.

Re: 196 Elite Switch Panel Question (89_Javelin_Money_Pit)

It is for a livewell pumpout on my 196 but then again I have 3 holes and two are bilge and one is pumpout. Trace the tubes from those holes to the pumps... its fairly easy and will answer your question in a few minutes of time.

Could also be for a back up bilge pump.
