    08 198 different than earlier 198's?

So I asked Aurora canvas about a cover for my 198 and they told me my 08 is different than the earlier model 198s so the covers they had in stock wouldn't work. Is this true I thought they were all the same?

The configuration of the tubes and rigging in the rear (don't know what to call it) is different. I have an 05, but when Champion ordered my cover, they did not specify and I was sent the cover with the 08 config. I sent it back and Aurora fixed it up at no add'l cost.

They can fix you up for your 08.

Also...and this is important....the shaft length of your TM needs to be specified!!!!!

I talked to them about the clearance covers they have also... Apparently the consoles are a bit different (height) in addition to the rear rigging set up Lea mentions... He did not want to sell one for my '09 even though the listing said '05 - current... He said it was a mistake on the web-site...

I too want a black one and will probably wind up having them make a custom fit... I'm wondering how a low cover (without front/rear posts in) would look... I rarely store my boat outside and would think a lower profile would pull better and look cool

Black covers build incredible heat. I would recommend a light color!! Guy had black cover on BassCat and stuff under it melted!!!!!
