Trailer trade.......

I have a 2002 203dc. I bought the boat from Florida back in the spring, it has a 2006 Magic Tilt (and no it's not a actual tilt trailer) custom Alluminum trailer under it. Tandem axle and will fit a bigger boat than mine, there is still bunk boards sticking out behind my boat. It is a very nice trailer, but i would really like to have a factory trailer instead. If anyones interested in doing some trading please let me know......thanks

You want to get rid of an aluminum trailer so you can get a steel rust-bucket?

Boys I'd jump on this one quick if I had one.

If I were you I'd keep that aluminum trailer and make it fit better.

I don't know if the 198 trailer will work for the 203. The 198 is a 95 inch beam boat. I don't think the length would be the problem though. Here are a couple of pics when brand new. I will try and get some current pis up soon. I would prefer an alum trailer living down here so if they would fit I might be interested.

Pics this am, led taillights, brakes and hybrid bearings that are suppose to last 10 years.

SS lag bolts used as fasteners for boards. Brakes work and trailer is in overall good condition. It has never been wrecked. Tires have plenty of tread and even wear. Probably 75% tread left.

no not going to sell it........think i might just hang onto it. There's no way my trailer will rust, and what i've heard on the factory trailers that is a problem. sorry to have wasted anyone's time

If my 191SC would have fit on it -- I'd have been on the road to Tennessee!!

    Re: (pmgoffjr)

Seriously guys, i had no intention of wasting anyone's time or getting there hopes up and letting them down. The trailer i have now is a little wider than a factory trailer and a whole lot longer. It's almost a pain in the but to pull around crowded parking lots sometimes. I had no idea that the new trailers had such an issue with rust, if i would have known that then i would have never thought about trading. No hard feelings and i hope there are none.

    Re: (U.S. eh Champ!)

I'm loving it. I've owned about every brand of bass boat over the last 22 years and this is my first Champion. I live on Kentucky Lake and it gets pretty rough here. The boat takes rough water great and it handles great too. After installing the recessed tray for the trolling motor pedal i like it even more, very comfortable platform to fish from. I would have to say the only thing i don't like about it is the wrap on it, you can't hide from nobody, and everyone thinks your a pro or something, but i've left it on to protect the gelcoat on the boat anyways. After reading all the post's from everyone on the Champion board i see why everyone loves there Champ so much.................................
